  1. The poor people had to live in extreme poverty. They used to live in the tenements located in slum areas.
  2. The tenements owners never behaved neatly with these people; they used to take double rent from them for a little space in the tenement.
  3. There were no proper facilities available for these poor people in the tenements as little plumbing was done and other safety measures were not taken. This further led to the spread of diseases.  
  4. These people were not treated well in their workplaces as they were abused because of racialism and ethnic identities.  
  5. The poor children mostly remained undernourished, and they were often kicked out of schools without any reason.  
  6. `The women had to face many harsh conditions while living, and many women were also kidnapped and were abused.
