Respuesta :

To absorb light energy, photons (from light) to be excited and pumped with energy.

The main problem is that a single photon does not have enough energy to pump an electron in a single motion. They consequently employ two distinct photosystems to raise the electrons into higher energy states by means of two photons (see figure). After reaching the main electron acceptor, the excited electron is sent along the electron transport chain, where it is converted from NADP+ to NADPH, storing the energy of the excited electron.
