As Shandra has written a list of 12 main points, which is too many she should organize the points into categories.
When you are writing a speech, the most important thing to consider is to not make too many main points so that it is difficult for the listeners to listen to you elaborating on each main point.
When you feel that the main points have increased, you should organize them into categories so that you can combine these categories in order for better understanding and your speech being the length that will be appropriate for the listeners to listen.
In the above case, Shandra should also organize the main points into categories in order to shorten her speech.
