Chaos would result because societies are typically criminal organizations that try to correct and fix things. You will encounter a variety of communities, including relativists who cannot determine what is right or wrong because they hold that everyone is free to form their own opinions regarding everything (which then means that there is no moral law). How does a person choose who to follow if there are various cultures and points of view? If everyone had their own perspective, the necessary standard would no longer exist. Right and wrong would no longer have any significance, and humans—who are never perfect—would be in charge of making judgments about where things stand.
What is the main issue with relativism toward individuals?
The main issue is with the overarching assertion that everything is relative to me, including the idea of individual relativism itself. Although many truths are undoubtedly relative to me, such as how something tastes, it is simply untrue to say that all truths are.
