“The Origin of the Robin” is considered to be a creation myth because it explains how this creature came to be. We can see how the robin was created by this childish boy in the story who was angry with his father and thus turned himself into a robin. Creation myths try to explain the birth of a creature or some other event, and they are mythological in nature, meaning that people invented these stories.
