Respuesta :

I'd say B, because the armada was disrupted. No ships were burnt, but they were broken apart, meaning none returned. I hope this helps!

D. England’s smaller and faster ships sank much of the Spanish fleet in the Battle of the Spanish Armada.

In the 16th century, the Catholic Spanish and their Dutch allies sought to invade England in order to:

  • overthrow Queen Elizabeth I who was a Protestant.
  • put an end to the tendency of British sailors to attack Spanish ships in what the Spanish termed in be piracy.

The Armada was very large and included around 130 ships but the British ships were smaller and faster then the Spanish ships and so were able to shoot at them whilst dodging Spanish attacks which led to much loss for the Armada which was then forced to withdraw back to Spain.

In conclusion therefore, the smaller and faster ships of the English did much damage to the Spanish ships.
