North Africa is the answer.

Option 4: North Africa

It took place more specifically in west North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia) during World War II from 8 to 16 of November 1942. Operation Torch was the U.K. and the U.S invasion of western North Africa, occupied by the Vichy French Government, who was officially under Germany control, though it was believed that many of them supported the Allies.
