She wants the clown hat dessert and the circus ball dessert to have equal volumes. The radius of both cake pieces will be 3 in. Volume she wants should be same for both cake pieces.
Now see volume of a sphere which is a circus ball=4/3πr³

And volume of a cone is 1/3πr²h
if both are equal
4/3πr³=1/3πr²h
after simplify this
4r=h
4(3)=h
h=12 inches
