Hagrid

Pythagoras made a significant contribution to western music by creating the Pythagorean tuning. This is the tuning used in the syntonic temperament where the ratie is 3:2, about 702 cents wide. It is a system of musical tuning in where all the frequency ratios are based on the 3:2 intervals. It is also known as the "pure" perfect fifth because it is one of the easiest tunes that can be tuned by the ear.
