For the first question, the correct answer is C! The reason why is be cause Martin van Buren did came up with most of the theory, he did get the help from others but most of the theory was his own.


For the second question, Peggy was being treated unjustly by the other women that served in the government, that’s why President Jackson defended her. He didn’t love her, but he defended her because it reminded him about the situation his wife faced while running for president. The answer is C!
