In a newspaper ad a scientist asked for volunteers to test a new theory on the speed of light by using a machine he invented how would you know that this is an unreliable newspaper ad

they don't have facts about the machine or pictures/videos.the scientist didn't prove that he made the machine. hope this helps ;)
