“He who trusts any man with supreme power gives it to a wild beast, for such his appetite sometimes makes him: passion influences those in power, even the best of men, but law is reason without desire. . . . “ (Aristotle). Which feature of modern Western democratic government reflects Aristotle’s views as quoted?

Respuesta :

The feature most prominent in western societies is the idea of the rule of law. If only one person has absolute power, it can become tyrannical. If law rules then law is above everything and everyone and law can't become tyrannical and passionate and corrupted because it is chosen by people through a parliament.
