Area of Trapezium (T) = (30*40) = 1200 (yd)^2

Area of Triangle (R)= 1/2(40*20) = 400 (yd)^2

Area of yard = area of T + area of R = (1200+400) yd^2 = 1600 yd^2
I think it’s 2000

Explanation: First of all I would assume to
separate both of the shapes and find their area. So the triangle’s area would be 800 (20x40). Meanwhile the area to our trapezoid(forgot its name hope it’s right) would be 1,200. I would then proceed to add the which would give you 2000!
