Bradley was walking in the woods when he came across what he thought was a deadly coral snake. his flight-or-fight response kicked in. then he realized it was really a harmless king snake, which is similar to the coral snake. he began to calm down when his ___________ system kicked in.

After differtiating the type of snake and realizing it wasn't poisonous Bradley's nervous system kicked in and he started laughing and shaking at the same time. This was due to having to release the stress that his body built up and was now recovering from after first, the scare and then, the relief.
