B) each declined due to a change in climate
C) agriculture was an important part of the economy
D) their daily lives were highly documented by scholars

Respuesta :

The correct answer is - C) agriculture was an important part of the economy.

Both of these civilizations developed along the shores of the big rivers, which were very fertile, and were allowing the people to practice agriculture and to manage to produce enough, and even surplus food. This was the basis from which these civilizations developed, and it remained the most important part of the economies of their respective civilizations while they existed.

Option C i.e agriculture was the important part of the economy is the correct answer.

The Shang civilization was located along the Yellow river while as Indus Civilization was located along the Indus River. The banks of these two rivers had a large fertile land owning to their recurrent flooding. It allowed farmers of both these civizations to grow and produce large surplus grains. The surplus grains helped them to develop trade and specialization of crafts.

Agriculture as an important activity of both these civizations can be traced on the basis of granneries and agricultural tools found therein.
