Respuesta :

The Middle passage is where Africans, densely packed onto ships, were transported across the Atlantic to the West Indies. What made it so horrible was the conditions, they were confined to cargo holds with each slave chained with little room to move. At least 2 million Africans--10 to 15 percent--died during the Middle Passage.

Answer:

Explanation:

The Middle Passage was the crossing from Africa to the Americas, which the ships made carrying their 'cargo' of slaves.

Seasickness, heat and lack of air all contributed to the terrible smell. These conditions also encouraged disease. The Slaves treatment was horrific because the captured African men and women were considered less than human; they were "cargo", or "goods", and treated as such.
