The thing is that , there are three consumers in a food chain, primary, secondary, and tertiary. So it will be obvious that a small thing can be eaten by the bigger thing and that bigger thing will be eaten by the most bigger thing, So primary is eaten by secondary and secondary is eaten by tertiary, and the food chain goes on .
