Respuesta :

1. "Old Ironsides" is about a battleship that has reached the end of its career (D).

"Old Ironsides" is actually a tribute to the eighteenth century frigate USS Constitution. Thanks in part to the poem, the frigate was saved from commission and is the oldest commissioned ship still afloat.

2. The focus of the third stanza is that the speaker envisions a fitting end of the ship (A).

The third stanza suggest that if the USS Constitution must be decommisioned, that the rightful end would be a burial at sea.
