I don't know the answer for this question but I'mma tell you what I know Anson Jones was born in Massachusetts in 1798 when he was 22 he was licensed as a physician the plane mode as manager of a country doctor but as life will take him in it for different direction it would been known to history of the accident of annexation but is actual contribution to text is more complex and it's life far more trouble than the nickname would indicate

The Republic of Texas was declared on March 2, 1836.

Following the declaration, the Republic of Texas won the war of independence against Mexico on 21 April 1836.

On the other hand, one primary failure of the Republic of Texas Government is its inability to finance the new republic ad ward off Indian and Mexican threats.

These situations, however, contributed to Texas' annexation by the United States because their independence status gave them the opportunity and the right to be annexed by the United States.

Also, knowing that another war might occur against Mexico, in which they may not survive, they decided to be annexed by the United States to have more strength to defend them.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the success and failure of the Republic of Texas led to them being annexed by the United States.
