What were the major arguments used, pro and con, in the debate over expanding suffrage during the age of Jackson? Which arguments were valid?

Respuesta :

This was known as the Jacksonian Democracy. It extends the right to suffrage to the common man.The privilege to vote was given earlier to male landowners and taxpayers. However, time changed and became more democratic as it allowed the majority to participate in this right. The event increased the majority participation which becomes a threat to the upper class.
As a constituent of the country, they have the political right to take part on suffrage and choose their leader whom they think would help their country.
