The most prominent role change would be to a responsible adult role. This age group would have to role of college student or in a job as an employee. They would be taking care of themselves and not relying on parents for day to day tasks. Hopefully very soon they would also be financially independent. Around this age some young adults may be getting married and taking on the role of spouse. Also, there could be the role of becoming a parent themselves.
