1. Phillis Wheatley's poetry : D Realism. She was a poet of African-American nationality who suffered slavery. She was a pioneer in publishing a book of poetry in the colonies. Her literary pieces revolved around the African-American social realities.

2- Mark Twain's The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County :E Regionalism.  This story shares  typical characteristics from the genre of Regionalism such as middle-class characters, a language related to the setting and a writing style similar to the colloquial language of the location.
