The definition that can be given to a doing gender is the idea that was set up that explains that gender serve as psychologically ingrained social construct which is seen in daily interraction of human rather being innate quality.

  • Doing gender can be regarded as a  process of creating gender as a result some interaction in social settings.

  • Instance of this is when a male open car door for female, in the doing gender term, this is seen that the male is reinforcing an idea concerned about gender as a result of his actions.
