First, simplify the equation by subtracting two from both sides. 
You should get the equation: y=1/5x-1

Start by finding the y=intercept, -1, on the y-axis (hint that's the one going left and right)

Remember that the equation for slope is rise/run. 

The slope for this particular equation is 1/5. From the point -1, go up one unit to (0,0) (It's the origin, the middle of the graph) and over to the right five units to (5,0). Keep going the that pattern, up one, over to the right five until you have plotted 3+ points. Remember that the line should start down on the left side and up on the right side because it is positive. 

Lastly, get a straight edge and connect the points. Make sure to extend the line all the way across the graph and add arrows at the end of the line!
