Amount he will get after 10% increase = 12 + 10% of 12

Finding 10% of 12:

[tex] 10 percent of 12 = 0.1*12=1.2 [/tex]

So total rate per hour after increase = 12 +1.2 =13.2

New rate per hour for late shift is $13.2
