Answer: Topographic Map

A topographic map is a map that shows elevation and surface configuration of a land area by means of contour lines. The elevation and surface configuration of a land area can give information about recent volcanic eruptions in the area.

Answer:

Topographic map would give a direction about recent volcano in an area.

Explanation:

A topographic map is a 2-dimensional map which shows land features and the elevation height and difference. These are made plausible by using contour lines. Furthermore, the topographic map also shows the shallowness and steepness of the slope on the ground. When the contour lines are closely spaced, it means the slope is steep. The presence of volcanoes is also represented on the topographic maps.

Volcanoes change the topography even if eruptions haven't taken place. Examples of topography changes include the cone-shaped hill from erupted volcanoes. It also creates hills, mountains, calderas, lava plateaus, depression, tectonic etc. All there feature will affect the contour lines since they create slope and elevation difference.
