B "In 18 years of peace and good faith, this generation of Germans has earned the right to be free, including the right to unite their families and their nation in lasting peace, with good will to all people."

C "Freedom has many difficulties and democracy is not perfect, but we have never had to put a wall up to keep our people in, to prevent them from leaving us."

D "There are many people in the world who really don't understand, or say they don't, what is the great issue between the free world and the Communist world. Let them come to Berlin."

Respuesta :

The answer is A.People were separated and alienated. The wall was an offense  to humanity because it pointed out that there was a need to perform a bisection.People could not choose where to be, if on one side or the other and that was the gratest insult of all, the loss of freedom .In adition ,feelings, bonds, loyalties were not taken into account. The wall was a picture of division in the world and that was offensive for every inhabitant who was segregated from what they  loved. It is difficult to have everyone sharing an ideology, religion or an opinion but building a wall to show a difference was outrageous.
