It encompassed Britain and France engaging in an act of appeasement by leaving the rest of Czechoslovakia to be taken over by Hitler as the leader of Germany because of his deceitful claim that he would stop trying to expand his nation at Sudetenland which he had recently occupied. Therefore, his power went unchecked while France and Britain were idly on the sidelines until Poland was at stake later on. Only then did the powers immerse themselves in World War II.
