Canada's GDP does not indicate that Canadians have the eleventh-best standard of living. A nation's per capita GDP is a better standard-of-living indicator, because it measures average income. Using this measure, it looks like Canada has a better standard of
living than all but one other nation.
GDP per capita is the PPP value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given year divided by the average population.
