One difference between a Breccia rock and a conglomerate rock is that the particles in a Breccia rock are more angular than a conglomerate rock. Breccia and conglomerate rocks are very similar. They are both considered to be classic sedimentary rocks which are made up of particles bigger than two millimeters in diameter. The biggest difference between the two rocks is the shape of the particles that each rock is made up of. Breccia rock consists of angular shaped particles while the conglomerate rock consists of more rounded particles.
