Set up a proportion and cross multiply.
[tex] \frac{2boxes}{3bags} = \frac{1box}{Xbags} [/tex]
Now multiply the X times the 2 boxes and set it equal to 1 box times 3 bags. Now solve for X = 3/2. 1.5 bags of packing peanuts are used for each box.
