Many religious traditions have taken a position on abortion, and these stances span a broad spectrum. For instance, the Roman Catholic Church has held the most absolute and extreme stance against abortion. So that, many catholic people are strongly and deeply against the passing of laws that enable women to undergo an abortion in case of an undesired pregnancy. Even though in many countries abortion is already legally allowed, many countries, such as Argentina, are still fighting to have the law passed.
