Traditionally, some vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure, were taken manually. It is not uncommon to see medical facilities use electronic BP cuffs and a pulse oximeter to take the BP and pulse. Do you think that this is an example where technology is a benefit, or is it better to not trust these important measurements to a machine?

Respuesta :

Personally speaking, I find machines to be more of a benefit and accurate in what they're designed to do. Humans that are not trained medically, can cause a human error in doing it manually.

This is an example of a benefit of technology where a machine is used to improve the treatment and  reduce recovery time of patients.

Explanation

Machine technology is being applied in healthcare to improve the quality of human life, create more healthcare jobs and boost the progress of the medical field through technological innovation. Machines are used to facilitate sophisticated medical surgeries and provide insights on diseases that can not be detected with naked eyes. For examples machines that take photos of internal parts of the body.
