I think it is a chick and a human both have to break free and live life in the open air and to grow also "and kicks and stomps" i think that is referring to a person's anger or frustration cus that's what humans do when we get angry and that we always find another way just as the chick did.

Answer:

I think that the chick's experience describes human experience in the sense that we cannot give up when something fails.  We mustn't let our failures keep us from achieving our goals.  We must instead continue to push past the difficulties and failures and continue to push towards our goal(s), because if we continue pushing forward we will eventually break through.

This can be interpreted and/or supported by the knowledge that humans (as stupid as we may be) will continuously fight for what we believe in/what we want no matter the circumstances.  We could be placed in any situation and yet still we would focus on setting our own goals first and not allowing anything to stop us from achieving our desired outcome.  We as humans are stubborn, persistent, and selfish, there's no arguing it, it's just the way we're built.
