Check all that apply:
A) The colonists no longer wanted to practice English customs.
B) Britain refused to support the colonial government any longer.
C) The colonists were being taxed without their consent.
D) Britain had imposed unfair trade rules.

Respuesta :

The answer is: C and D
the colonists were being taxed without their consent and Britain had imposed unfair trade rules
I know that this is the answer, because I clicked the answers that the other person gave me and got one of them wrong.

Options C) and D) are correct because one of the main reasons the colonist wanted Independence was because they felt like they were given 'taxation without representation'. That explains option C, and for option D , the British were unjust in the rules they made towards the colonists, therefore making the colonists call for Independence.
