Respuesta :

An animal cell that can differentiate into many different cell types is called a stem cell.  There are two main types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells.  When a stem cell divides, each new cell can either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.

Further explanation

Stem Cells are cells that are within the stages of embryonic development. animal cells grow into various organs in these organisms. vegetative cell initially has not been differentiated into mature cells, and these cells can regenerate themselves.

according to its development this vegetative cell is split into 2 types:

  • embryonic stem cells taken during the blastula phase (embryonic phase). These embryonic stem cells can turn out to be a spread of cells in cell culture media.
  • adult stem cells whose function is to repair damaged tissue. most of the damage is caused by the death of a cell or tissue which will regenerate and stop working

Stem cells are present within the embryonic phase and are especially needed for the event of the blastula stage. within the embryonic phase, animal cells originating from the zygote, still develop until the blastula stage where the stage contains many animal cells that are still natural before heading to the fetal stage.

in other words stem cells are cells that haven't differentiated or haven't been transformed into specific cells and still have a awfully high potential to turn out to be many various cell types within the body. Stem cells are abundant within the embryonic phase and are usually needed especially during the event of the blastula stage.
