Life in itself Is nothing, An empty cup, a flight of uncarpeted stairs. It is not enough that yearly, down this hill, April Comes like an idiot, babbling and strewing flowers. Which best describes the effect of personification on the overall meaning in this excerpt?

Respuesta :

When talking about April, it comes “like an idiot” the author is using personification to offer imagery to the reader. To add this form of personification, adding humanity to something like spring not only showed us the image the author was trying to paint but clarifies their idea. Life both physical and with in our selves comes with little worth.

It makes april seem to the speaker like a mindless person to emphasize the contradictions of the month (apex)
