The correct answer is that this citizen sent her elected official a letter about the problem there was with the flooding and now the council is going to discuss the issue. Hope this helps

The email shows how a person can influence government due to the fact that the mail that the person sent was what prompted the government to act.

The summary of the mail that Cynthia sent is that she sent a report on what was wrong in her neighborhood.

According to her mail, the area that she stayed was having flood issues. The reply that she got is that the problem would be solved by the government.
