Disorganized speech ordinarily emerges from strange manners of thinking. A man taking part in disorganized speech may rapidly bounce starting with one random subject then onto the next, take part in garbled "word plate of mixed greens," rehash things someone else says back to them, or have all the earmarks of being talking with nonexistent elements.
