The Native American Church (NAC), otherwise called Peyotism and Peyote Religion, is a Native American religion that instructs a mix of customary Native American convictions and Christianity, with consecrated utilization of the entheogen peyote. The religion started in the U.S. Province of Oklahoma in the late nineteenth century after peyote was acquainted with the southern Great Plains from Mexico.
