The tone of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a bit of both dramatic and humerus. J.K. Rowling lightens the darker parts of the book with some well-placed humor, which transforms the theme well.

Very different because J.K.Rowling hasn’t written it.

You remember reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ? and those thousands of question that produce the by product because of the time turner ?

Well the whole Cursed Child book is dependent on time turner. After third part of Harry Potter J.K.Rowling clearly said that how it can go worse and impossible to go past using time turner to save one’s life still the whole plot of Cursed Child is based on this fact.

But here in this book the Cursed Child you will miss that essence. You will miss that character details. Remember the whole chapters about Lupin, how he became werewolf, about Tonks , about Half blood Prince but here there is no Teddy Lupin who is Godson of Harry Potter. You won’t see the George and Fred. Nothing about James or Hugo.

We used to read the adventure about Harry, Ron and Hermione but in the Cursed Child that fragrance is missing. You won’t read much about Ron Weasley. He is totally neglected and that is awful plot mistake.

The Cursed Child focused on emotional part and more about friendship. Even Dumbledore and Harry goes emotional. Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter shows some emotional friendship where they hugs each other occasionally. But this friendship is nothing compare to Harry, Ron and Hermione shares. Albus and Scorpius volunteer himself for adventures but in Harry Potter books the trio forced into it.
