The printing press changed a lot since in the past, writings and drawings had to be done be hand and it isn't just anyone who was allowed to do so. It was Gutenberg who invented the printing press which made an impact when it reached the public. The first printed materials were more popular with the lower classes since the noble class looked down on it.
