5. If insects and birds fly from flower to flower to help with pollination, why are there not flowers of
mixed species?

Respuesta :

Answer:

Because they are not animals

Explanation:

They are plants still living but plants

As there is many different species of plants, they all have different pollen types that identify them. And there isn’t much cross pollenization because the different pollen types need to be compatible with another flower’s stigma and ovule to be able to reproduce. If it’s not, then the pollen doesn’t develop correctly as the two plants’ parts to reproduce aren’t compatible with each other.

I hope this helps!
